Ellie Gowers, Ian Todd, Clemency (‘Hush! A Yuletide Celebration’)

Another showcase of some of the best original artists Coventry and Warwickshire have to offer. This latest collaboration between Earlsdon Carnegie Community Library & Hot Music Live Presents will feature local artist & musician Ian Todd demonstrating how he creates his work & talking about his craft, music from the acclaimed local duo Clemency (Ben Clempson & Nina Bailey) plus headline artist, the wonderful Ellie Gowers who in the last year or so has evolved from a locally critically and popularly renowned musician into one held in similar esteem on a national scale.

Ellie has recently released her greatly praised new album ‘Dwelling by the Weir’ which celebrates the history & culture of her beloved Warwickshire: you can expect many songs from it to feature in her set. The cover of the album was designed by Nina of Clemency who will also describe how she created it. Ellie, Ian, Ben & Nina of course have all featured on “Hot Music Live Presents” albums & been reviewed in “Hot Music Live” magazine.

All profits from the show will support the Library. There will a licensed bar plus other suitably festive treats. The event is timed to be family friendly and the tickets limited in number so that everyone feels safe in this beautiful space.

Please note that Ellie was originally scheduled to feature in a “Hush!” event on December 18th 2021; sadly she fell unwell on the day and so it was postponed. This date is therefore the rescheduled date. If you hold a ticket for 18th December 2021, it is valid for this new date. There will therefore be a very limited number of new tickets available from the Library or via this site, so we strongly advise an early purchase.
