Ellie Gowers & friends @ Warwick Arts Centre
Jun 15 @ 7:45 pm – 10:00 pm

Ellie Gowers, local folk artist and Warwick Art’s Centre’s own Artist-in-Residence, presents an exciting evening of her own music, alongside performances by local musicians and newly discovered talent.

Warwickshire-based Ellie’s songs are built from a childhood love of literature and traditional folk song.

Her debut album, Dwelling By The Water was released this year and draws upon a range of local stories and characters.

She also recently supported The Longest Johns on their Autumn 2022 tour.

Folk musician Ellie Gowers, Warwick Art Centre, Thursday 15 June.

Preview by Anne Cee – Elementary What’s On

Local folk musician Eliie Gowers will lead us through songs about local legends who may have lurked in these parts many moons ago.

Expect an evening of traditional and original folk tunes that celebrate Ellie’s sweet, pure voice and skilful guitar. I’m expecting her to bring us a taste of Warwickshire with tales of triumph and tragedy, in conjunction with other local musicians.

This concert is a wonderful opportunity for us all to engage with the work of Ellie as she continues her tenure as the Artist in Residence at Warwick Arts Centre. Keep your music miles low by coming to this lovely local show.
