Steve is a multi-award winning singer-songwriter and musician, and a giant among folk performers. In 2010, Steve won Best Song at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, and in 2014 he was named the “Songwriter of the ’90s” by BBC Radio 2’s Tom Robinson (other winners were Bob Dylan for the ’60s, David Bowie ’70s, Prince ’80s).
As well as a fantastic solo performer, Steve is one half of duo Show of Hands (BBC R2 Best Duo, 2010) who boast 25 album releases, 2 Honorary Doctorates, 3 BBC Folk Awards and 4 Royal Albert Hall sell-outs.
