Immanuel’s Ground Quire – Come and Sing West Gallery Music for Spring

Join Warwick’s very own West Gallery Quire, Immanuel’s Ground, for a joyful afternoon singing and playing Spring and Easter themed music. Immanuel’s Ground recreate the life and times of the old church quires and bands as they sang and played, both in church and in their weekday activities. This includes both secular and sacred music from about 1700 up until 1850, in four choral parts accompanied by bowed strings and woodwind.

Both new and experienced singers are welcome and parts can be learnt by ear. We also welcome players of appropriate instruments who are confident sight readers. NB this style of music is not suitable for brass instruments, keyboards or guitars.
